  • Got this yesterday. Two songs are rehashes from extra tracks on previous singles – “And Winter Came” was previously known as Midnight Blue. “Oiche Chuin” already released a few times. The other songs are twee, and the whole CD has an air of cynical commercialism about it. There’s a huge lack of new ideas, lyrical or melody-wise: lots of repeated lyrical references to midnight chimes and chimes of midnight, and midnight blue etc…

Florida…? Oh, is that the place where the clever folks put The W into the White House? Good job!

  • What’s with the never-ending Christmas theme? We all love holidays, but come on! Also, the scaling back of vocals does not make this genre of music better.. it makes it worse. Look for other, more interesting artists who are using multiple vocal layers. Enya is too far out of touch now.

  • I would like to review the product, but have not received it yet. I placed the order on 12/17/08, I have emailed the seller twice and they have not replied. In checking the comments of other customers am afraid they are not reliable sellers. If I do not receive it in the next 10days I will request a refund and trust that Amazon will assist in obtaining it.

  • I love Enya and I have every one of her CD’s. This one is just plain boring. There is no spark and I have listened to it twice and then I put it away. I will give it to the next bazaar at the church as I will not be listening to it again. What a shame. I didn’t even want to play it for my guests at Christmas… Just plain dreary….

  • I don’t think her latest album is up to her earlier work. I only played it once and was not impressed. Maybe I should listen to it again.
