I once had some short bread and scones they were very nice indeed.

I don’t know if these are actually Scottish–I guess they must be–when I was in England years ago I had a Scotch egg, one of the tastiest things I ever ate. I made ‘em once myself, kind of a bother and hard to be sure the sausage is cooked through. Anyway, I haven’t ever seen them in the US, but then I don’t get around much.
