If possible could you please inform me of their best Scottish born player if not the same as well as thier best Irish born player if not the same. Im a big football fan from New York, and usually stick to the English Prmier leage and International games (just saw Honduras upset Mexico in the copa de oro), but ive been looking to by a new jersey and being Im Irish and Catholic . . . Celtic jumped out at me

Henrik Larsson is Celtic’s best player of all time and nobody has or will ever do what he has done for the club.Played 221 games and scored 173 goals.In 2001 he scored 35 goals in a seaon where he was awarded a european golden boot.
Kenny Miller our Mcmanus is their current best Scotsman,and Aidan Mcgeady is their main Irish player.

Well, while I am a huge fan of Henrik, he isn’t even the best to ever wear number 7 for the hoops. That honor would go to the man who was voted as the greatest of all time by the supporters.
Jimmy Johnstone is the greatest of all the Bhoys. Jinky was born in Scotland. Grew up just outside of Glasgow, and was a part of the Celtic side that became the FIRST British side to win the European Champions Cup (the predecessor to the Champions League).
Johnstone wasn’t much of a physical specimen. Jinky was only 5’4″ or so, but he was the heart and soul of Celtic.

I have only been a fan for 6-7 years so I haven’t seen the players in the past years so I will say Larsson is the best. He played for 7 years with the club and is one of there top goal scorers of all time. he’s 35 now but he is still great he played well for Manutd this year for a few months he was loaned to them from his swedish club he now plays for. I wish he would come back It won’t happen but I can still hope. There best Irish born player was Roy Keane. He didn’t play for very long on Celtic but to me he’s the best Irish player ever. Their best player now is Nakamura, he is the SPL player of the year this year his # is 25 Larsson is #7

For me its Henrik Larsson (7) and always will be unless we get someone greater. I know Jinky was voted as the greatest ever but that was before my time and I never ever saw him play, so it will be Henrik for me.
