It doesn’t really matter. It’s all personal preference. My mom has one and I did it by age from left to right: dad, mom, oldest brother, middle brother, and then me last since I’m the youngest. I’ve seen some with the mom’s stone in the middle with kids on either side as well. Just up to you. :)

You dont put dads on it.
You can arrange the stones any way you want.
I have 2 children .My oldest has his stone on the left, mine is in the middle and my youngest is on the right.

There are different styles. Usually there is a bigger stone in the centre for the mom. Or you can get one with two larger stones for dad and mom.
Alternatively, there are rings with just the children’s stones on them, then you go in birth order from left to right. That’s what my mom had – six stones.

Bought my mom and mother-in-law birthstone mother’s rings last year and matching pendants this year. They had all the kid’s birthstones in the rings and pendants. Children in the center and dad and mom on the outside.

Bought mine from http://www.mothersfamilyrings.com. They also sent me a coupon code for 5% off – MOM. They have free overnight shipping going on right now too!

    Hope this helps!
