Pagans, Christians and Primative people all use the symbol of a cross, only the interpritation changes. Strangely and ironicly, Native Americans, Celtics and Jews once had no idea the other people even existed but all envoked the cross since ancient times. So whats the difference … or should I ask, “What are the similarities?”

The Christian cross and Celtic cross have the same root. The Celtic cross comes from the early Celtic Church, a Christian church separate from the Roman Catholic church that arose in 4th and 5th Century Ireland and Britain.

Well in the beginning all the continents were land locked so its still all originating from the same place as they would evolve w/ similar trains of thought.
Celtic cross is usally wider at the tips and has a ring behind it, often w/ some knotwork in it. Christian cross is the plain ole boring one, and i have no idea what the NA one looks like. Meaning wise i have no clue as i dont really research religion past the basic principles.

When you look a a cross there are two lines that intersect. The intersection can symbolize coming together.
An example is the Native Medicine Wheel, which is a circle with a cross. The intersection is at the center.
The Medicine Wheel has many teachings and the cross (the intersection at the center) can symbolize many things. The Creator, the tree of life, a person or their life force, the community, the nation, humanity etc.
The center symbolizes the effect of the four teaching of the Medicine Wheel. (the sections created by the cross)
A few of the teaching are the:
> four colors
> four directions
> four gifts for life
> four races of man
> four stages of life
> four components of one’s life
> four gifts for mankind
and on and on
.
