The search for the Loch Ness monster has intrigued the world for decades, but new evidence could blow the myth wide open. Robert Rines believes the remains of “Nessie” are hidden at the bottom of the lake and sets out to prove his theory. Using sonar images, remote operating vehicles and underwater camera, Rines searches for evidence of remains and believes Nessie’s death would explain the decrease in sightings in the past years.

like mroe people said, there could be more, you dont know, maybe the old of the group are dead, and the youngsters have lived longer with cars and people spotting them, that could make them more hiding for humans, and that should explain less sightings, and dont say that cant, that is an natural reaction by mroe animals

The sightings have been happening for centuries, so it would be unreasonable to say that there is only one creature (if there are any to begin with). There is probably a small population

In order to have survived into modern time, there would most likely be more than one. Therefore one dead one might not mean the end of what this creature is, unless it was the last of it’s line. However, a carcass could prove finally that there is(or was) something that we had not yet identified in Lochness.
