I am getting married soon and I need song ideas for a dance with my step dad. My real dad passed away 4 years ago and we were very close. I am close to my step dad also but I don’t want the traditional father/dad songs. My step dad came into the picture when I was 13 so I don’t want anything talking about when the daughter is a baby. Just something to not make me too upset that my dad isn’t there.

I am listing a site below that has hundreds of wedding songs from the start to the end of the reception. You should be able to find something here. Just click on the song and you can listen to the video.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

“Just The Way You Are” by Billy Joel

It’s a great father/daughter dance song that doesn’t go into sappy details of childhood. My cousin used it for her father/daughter dance and I think it’s a great song to use.
