Hi, I’m from the USA and I am traveling to Scotland for my first ever time from July 31st-August 15. What kind of weather should I plan for?
I’m landing in Edinburgh, and making kind of a circle through the country, ( I will be visiting the University of Glasgow because am considering masters degree program there) and making it up to the highlands.

I am travelling to Ireland for vacation with my wife and we read in our guidebook that a medieval feast, while expensive, is loads of fun to participate in. Problem is, I can’t find anything on the internet. Does anyone know of one or know of a resource on the net to go to? I’ll be in Ireland Aug 3-17
