The Literary Traveller in Edinburgh: A Book Lover’s Guide to the World’s First City of Literature

Recently I’ve been getting more and more into my Irish heritage, but realized to really be into it I need to know more about Ireland in general, from it’s history to it’s geography and culture. So what’s a good book to start with?

An audio book of Evan’s Land by Ben Emlyn-Jones, read by the author. Copyright The Aldyth Press 2002. All rights reserved. Original blurb: Welcome to a Wales of the Future: In a country torn apart by civil war, Nationalists must struggle for independence against a despotic global dictator. Enter Evan Hughes: A young Welshman returning to his country after years of living in England. Hughes is fleeing from the present, curious about his past and seeking to build a future in a nightmare land of confusion and fear. Then, the ultimate twist of fate… Pushed and pulled by events beyond his control, Hughes finds himself faced with the most important task in all of Welsh history- the outcome of which will determine the survival of the entire country. See here for Ben’s second novel (Better I think!) that contains many of the Conspiracy and Paranormal themes I discuss on HPANWO TV, Rockall: hpanwo-bb.blogspot.com (Watch this space for the next part!)

It may also be any book on the full history of English drama, but the history of the beginnings must be discussed precisely…Thank You.

My husband, two teenage sons and I are planning to spend twelve days in Ireland in early June. After researching various tour package options, we’ve decided that we would be ahead to book the trip ourselves. How far in advance do I need to schedule flights, a rental car and lodging?

Scottish Haggis PLUS Haggis Recipe Book

i love the movie Braveheart (which incase u don’t know is about William Wallace) but im prettey sure, like with most movies about true events, they strayed away from what really happened. so im wanting to read a book about William Wallace to learn the true facts. can someone tell me of a good book that is based on the life of William Wallace?

10 points

I was finding it curious about the fact that someone mentioned that the knot on the book came from a religion that was older than Christianity. Could someone elaborate more on that? I like the TV series of Charmed, and just assumed that it was a book of spells, and that the symbol only was part of the Wicca religion. I was raised Christian, i know that is strange for me to watch something that i was strongly urged to not watch at all. Curiousity always killed the cat, or so to speak. i like the actors mainly.
