I’m writing a research paper on this and was sort of curious as to where Scotland’s loyalties lay ))

They rebelled against King Charles II when he tried to introduce the Book of Common Prayer but supposedly allied themselves during the War itself?

I’m a bit confused on that

During the famine in Ireland, why didn’t the Irish turn to a fishing industry to survive and is there a fishing industry there now? If not, why not since it is surrounded by oceans?

When the irish came here during the civil war were they mainly Christian, or catholic? and what religion is the celtic cross affiliated with?

I have to write my history paper on the Crusades and give 3 reasons about how it is a “class of civilizations”…..
I know it was fought against Christians and Muslims.
Christians government was the Roman Church.
What was the Celtic Turks government? Was it ruled by a hierarchy? Or by an Emperor?

Please help! ASAP!

I am going to Ireland for the month of July and I am not certain what I should bring besides a rain jacket. Should I bring a coat? How do the people of Ireland dress? Is it super conservative/ fashionable like the rest of europe?

I’m planning to study abroad in Ireland (Dublin) next school year but I’m not sure which semester would be a better time weather-wise to go. I’m wondering if anyone can tell me when does Dublin generally experience better weather: in the fall or the spring?

I’m going to be there in from late August – end of November or January – early May.
