IF an NHL team were to move to Halifax what would it’s name be and uniforms? Here are my suggestions. Post any ideas or anything on it.

Halifax Selkies- A Selkie is a Scottish mythological creature that is similar to a mermaid. Since Nova Scotia mean New Scotland something from Scotland makes sense.

Halifax Clippers- A clipper is a type of sailing ship. Since Nova Scotia is very maritime a name like that could work.

Any comments or better ideas?

Fans of celtic, should a competent referee handle the game on Sunday, and therefore Rangers win, please be aware that the following will NOT be accepted as valid ‘reason(s):

1. “We would have won, if we had a striker fit”. I have been listening to “We have a stronger squad”, “We don’t need to sign anyone”, and such like since “After the Euro’s, (that rings a bell), we will see on Sunday, when Killen may get a start, the way things are going.

2. “We would have won, if the ref……..”, sorry, no cigar. Celtic have benefitted from dodgy calls in all of their games so far. Rangers have been the victims, despite some who insist that the goal was offside on Saturday.

3. “If we were not in Europe…………….”. This one is for a little later in the season. After the sheer refusal by some to concede that Rangers’ fixture congestion, (and remember, no matter who’s fault it may have been, it certainly was not the players), I am unwilling to accept this as a reason for Rangers romping the league.

Celtic fans, what’s the excuse(s) going to be ?
Adele, I am glad to hear that. I dont have any excuses, Celtic should be expected to win, as they are the league champions, and have home advantage, (plus maybe the ref, he he). If they had a full strenght team, I would not be so confident. Fact is, they have lost both of their first-choice strikers, and have nobody that worries me to replace either of them. Maloney played well on Saturday, but he aint a striker, and maybe injured anyhow. And I don’t rate Samaras. This being the case, I expect Rangers to get at least a point. No-lose situation, in a sense.

T, one thing is for certain. rangers had a better chance of winning all 4 than Celtic did. Knocked out of both domestic cups, scraped through UCL group, humbled twice by Barca, and won the league in the last match. I am sure you expected much more, at the beginning of last season. I, on the other hand, was very pleasantly surprised. You must be in it, to win it.
Adele, I merely said that I would not be so confident. Hardly the same thing, c’mon now !
Gemma and Cindy, respect. I will be on myself, no matter what the result.
