One of the most thrilling moments of my life, the day I met and shook the hand of the First Minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party, Alex Salmond. I met him during his visit to the far-north of the Scottish Highlands, the place I proudly call home. I’m proud of my Scottish heritage and blood, and I love this country with all my heart and soul. Although I have been a supporter of the SNP and Scottish Independence ever since I was back in the states, now that I live here it actually affects my everyday life, as a resident of Scotland. And that’s why I fully support Alex Salmond, and his party, which I’m a registered member of, the SNP. They have been doing a great job for Scotland, while pursuing the quest for a better quality of life, self-determination and eventual independence and full sovereignty for Scotland and her wonderful people. The polls already show how the people are leaning towards the SNP more and more, and now we’re leading the polls and hopefully, we’ll get the current government re-elected. On May 5th, I’ll be going to the nearest polling place and my vote will go for the SNP, and I encourage you to do the same thing, if you’re lucky enough to live here and are able to vote. Let’s keep Salmond’s government in Holyrood, which has been doing an outstanding for the country. Let’s do the right thing — for Scotland!
