i am planning a trip from Edinburgh to Inverness, then from Inverness to Oban and then back to Edinburgh. So basically a scenic tour of a bit of Scotland. i am thinking of renting a small 1.0 ltr car to make this happen. How much will it cost me in pounds for petrol to do this trip?

Lines from Shelley, was composed in December 1983. The composer Sherwood Shaffer was inspired by the very special musicality he found in a few favorite lines from several different poems by Percy Bysshe Shelley. He rearranged the lines, juxtaposing them into newly formed couplets, thus producing a whole new set of meaning. The work is in one continuous movement with sectional divisions for each line and couplet. The lines from the poetry by Shelley are: 1. Like the sun from a wintry sky 2. Soft dreams of the morn 3. Like wind through a ruined cell 4. With music sweet as love 5. A magic circle traced 6. In the golden lightning of the sunken sun

IF an NHL team were to move to Halifax what would it’s name be and uniforms? Here are my suggestions. Post any ideas or anything on it.

Halifax Selkies- A Selkie is a Scottish mythological creature that is similar to a mermaid. Since Nova Scotia mean New Scotland something from Scotland makes sense.

Halifax Clippers- A clipper is a type of sailing ship. Since Nova Scotia is very maritime a name like that could work.

Any comments or better ideas?

Six Shelley Songs by Jason Thorpe Buchanan were composed in the summer of 2008. Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) wrote these poems between 1814 and his unexpected death in 1822, when he drowned at sea. He is known for having been expelled from Oxford for distributing a pamphlet entitled “The Necessity of Atheism”. He was married twice, leaving his first wife shortly after having written Away!, later meeting Mary Shelley, soon to be author of Frankenstein and daughter of William Godwin, a literary figure whom Shelley idolized. He lost two of the three children he had with Mary Shelley between 1818 and 1819. His texts have been criticized for their seemingly abstract surface aesthetic, as well as being called “splendidly nebulous”. With these six songs I have attempted to capture the essence of Shelley’s writing and depict the well-crafted romantic imagery contained in these poems. I hope that in doing so I manage to show their “splendidly nebulous” nature in my music. Music, When Soft Voices Die (1821) – PB Shelley| Music, when soft voices die, Vibrates in the memory– Odors, when sweet violets sicken, Live within the sense they quicken. Rose leaves, when the rose is dead, Are heaped for the beloved’s bed; And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone, Love itself shall slumber on.
