I’m flying to Ireland this summer and I want to stay near Killarney. What is the nearest airport and the quickest train/bus?

I am going to england and scotland on saturday. I am 16 and im going with my soccer team to play 4 friendly games and stay for 11 days. Anyone have any tips on what to take or anything of that sort for me to use?

I’m helping out a friend who plans to move to Ireland this year and work as a nanny through a agency. I am not sure whether she will be in Northern Ireland or The Republic of Ireland but i was wondering how she would apply for a visa for either country. If she will be in Northern Ireland should she go through the United Kingdom’s Visa service since Northern Ireland is part of the UK or does she need to do something different? I haven’t been able to find any information about Visas in The Republic of Ireland.

I have a friend that goes to St Andrews in Scotland and am thinking of meeting her in Ireland and then flying back with her to visit her school and the surrounding area.
I’m from the San Francisco area in California and am on a tight budget.
