I’m writing a fictional novel filled with creatures based in real folklore in all origins. Anything from the Scottish Banshee to the Danish hollow-back fairy. Anything on any lore based creature you can give me to research would be great. Thank you.

Hello all..!
Me and my other half are planning a birthday weekend to Scotland, (weekend of 11th-13th Sept ’09).
We’ve planned the weekend like this:
Friday : day and night – Glasgow
Saturday : day and night – Edinburgh
Sunday : day and night – Glasgow
Also, what kind of things can we do in Glasgow and Edinburgh..? Any price ideas, good cheap food places, especially all-u-can-eat places..cheap drinking and obviously, shopping places..?
We’re both 25yrs of age, so please do bare that mind.. Can anyone suggest what to do on the Saturday night, (Edinburgh), his birthday & our anniversary too…
All suggestions, ideas and tips welcome..
Thanks in advance!! x
Hi, I am living in a flat which owned by my sister. Last year a friend of mine brought a guy to rent a room. I didnot take any deposite and we do not have any written contract. The problem i have now is the guy has been really struggling to pay which some month he pays and some months he doesn’t. I helped him all the way such as given him cash as well as food which he never bought. Now i owed him around £2000 and he missed 2 months payment again. I want to know what are the chances of getting that money out, Can i take him to ourt even if we don’t have any written contract but i have a witness a friend of mine who brought him to me at the first place. I am living in scotland and if anyone know the legal procedure about it, it would be very kind to advice me on this matter. Thank you are looking forward to see the answer.
thanks for your answer, i will find out if the 110-7c form works in Scotland or could you tell me more about it?
thanks
Does anyone have any info on a John Wallace born 1780 in Kilnarnock, Scotland and married to Ann Speirs? Is he related to the William Wallace?
I have a 14 week old pembroke welsh corgi and she started barking at like 2:30 am like she wanted out of her cage, and i told her no. And she laid back down for a little bit but got sick. And i left her outside for a little bit and she came back in, about 10 mins later she was barking at the back door so i let her out and she got sick again. I gave her a little bit of food and water. But it took her like 15 mins to eat the very little food in her bowl which is not like her, and she didn’t drink any water. Im not sure what I should do. Do i need to call a vet, or should i wait to see what happens tomorrow?
When she came back in the house the second time and ate something she went and got her ball and laid down next to me, but i didn’t want to play with her, thinking it would make it worse. Now she is just laying on the floor next to me with a sad face. She sleeps in our room, but i wont hear her if she gets sick again inless she barks.
