Pipe bands from around the world marched through Glasgow as pipers across the city prepared for the World Pipe Band Championships 2011. Watch them as they ‘beat the retreat’ in an impressive procession through the city centre.


Every October in Reno, the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans hosts the Reno Celtic Celebration, and as a member of the Sierra Highlanders Bagpipe Band, was a proud participant. Over 500 Pipers and Drummers march past at the 142nd Annual Scottish Games in Pleasanton California. The massed band includes 3 Grade I bands.

Andre Rieu & Australian Pipe Band – Scotland the Brave & Amazing Grace 2008 “Amazing Grace” is a well-known Christian hymn by Englishman John Newton and first appeared in print in Newton’s Olney Hymns (1779) At the beginning the commentator explains in german that there are many australians playing a bagpipe


St. Andrews Pipe Band is really really good and were asked to play with the Chieftains in Charlotte, NC. They’re probably better than your band.
