i am trying to figure out what scottish clan houghton is part of yea it is scottish dont go into a lecture on how it derives from the danish vikings or whatever, if you guys could just tell me what clan it belongs to. i think it’s Gordon or MacDuff. PLEASE ANSWER!!!! I will pick best answer please answer its reallly important for me and ive researched and researched and i can only find the most common surnames of the clans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m working on this character design and the character I’m working on wears a belt with “God Save the Empress” inscribed on it. She’s a Celtic woman and I would like to put the inscription in either Cornish, Manx, or Scottish Gaelic. So what would be the closest translation of “God Save the Empress” be in either Cornish, Manx, or Scottish Gaelic? If you could translate it into all three that be nice, but one or the other is good. He was expelled from Oxford University for writting about the necessity of Atheism. But yet, when you read his poems, you feel that he was a believer of God, although in a different way. He used to feel that some inner being or a higher sense drives us ahead. Comments?

Me and my other half are planning a birthday weekend to Scotland, (weekend of 11th-13th Sept ’09).

We’ve planned the weekend like this:

Friday : day and night – Glasgow

Saturday : day and night – Edinburgh

Sunday : day and night – Glasgow

Also, what kind of things can we do in Glasgow and Edinburgh..? Any price ideas, good cheap food places, especially all-u-can-eat places..cheap drinking and obviously, shopping places..?

We’re both 25yrs of age, so please do bare that mind.. Can anyone suggest what to do on the Saturday night, (Edinburgh), his birthday & our anniversary too…
