Me and my love would like to go to England for our Honeymoon but it’s harder than it looks to find any info.
He wants to see a haunted castle and hang out in an area that’s very arty and has a lot of musicians and I want to see I lot of historical sites and maybe a play or something…..
I am working on a family tree. My cousin gave me a very old copy of a family tree going back to the 1600′s. It’s very difficult to read so I am trying to put the info I can read/understand into my computer.
For one ancestors info it says:
Johny Green married Abigail Morton on April 11, 1724 (then it gets confusing)
In Bally Hagen Marjallon, N. Ireland
i can’t find anything on the internet about these places. are they spelled wrong? Can you make any sense of it?
Well, it may not have been called Northern Ireland back then…..however, that is where my ancestors lived…….the Northern part of Ireland. Most everything else on the family tree mentions Antrim, Ireland. It is just this one location I am stuck on. Therefore I’m thinking they wrote this part wrong. If I can’t figure out what the correct info is, I will remove it from the family tree.
plz i need help 5pts for good answer
I’m going to Scotland (hopefully in a year or so). I’ve always been fascinated with castles & the whole Scottish culture. What is the best time of year to go & what region is best? I’m really thinking of going to the Highlands. I don’t want to go to a big “city”–I want to visit the smaller towns & the countryside. I also want to stay in a small bed & breakfast. I would love to stay in a castle, but I don’t know of any available. What are some sights I need to see? Any help is greatly appreciated!
…much about it. I need it for school as we’re doing dancing at lughnasadh soon and apparently it’s relevant to this. I need to know some of the political background, cultural background and celtic background, please? I’d be really grateful if any of you could help me, thank you!
Hi! I would love to live in Ireland or England for the summer. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or helpful websites? I know a lot of people from Ireland and England come here and work at summer camps as counselors or instructors, etc but I don’t think they have anything like that. I can’t do an internship because I’m 25 and have been out of college for 3 years.Alrighty, thanks!

Not really obvious or common ones. I have a Facebook page called Historic Scotland and it has a Fact of the Day and Question of the Day and I was just looking for some help. Check it out if you would like.
Maybe facts about castles, lochs, history, or battles. Really interesting stuff that is not obvious like ‘Ben Nevis is the highest point in Scotland’ and so on.
