Over the summer I was assigned a project. I have to write a ‘novel’ on irish/scottish folklore and chose to write a story about a changeling child that grows up as a mortal in 17th/18th century Scotland or Ireland. She finds out she’s a fairy child when her brother comes from the fairy world and kidnaps her…or something like that. If someone has a better idea please tell me! The thing is I can’t find a way to begin the ‘novel’. Any ideas???
