I’m trying to time-manage my trip to Edinburgh this coming weekend and before booking any tickets, i need to know how much time I should allow to visit both of these attractions. Can anyone give me a rough suggestion?
Kind of an odd question–this is for an RP game I’m involved in. People would be leaving Dunluce Castle and going to the Orkney Isles by 14th century cog ship.
Would also be nice if I knew how long it took to get from the castle to Rathlin Island, and from the castle to mainland Scotland.
Thanks!!
Orkney is a group of islands at the very north of Scotland.
In very old ships–6th century technology.
By airplane. Also how long is the flight from birmingham to ireland? Thank you
Hello everyone, we are flying to Edinburgh and then travelling to Windermere in the Lake District for a couple of days before returning to Edinburgh and staying there for 4 days.
I was wondering if it is feasible going for day trips from Edinburgh to Windermere or are we better of spending the night in Windermere? How far is it by train from Edinburgh (we are from the US and will not drive)?
Thanks a lot!
I’m writing a book and the year is 1872. How long would it take you to get from Ireland to England?
A rough estimate would be great. I havn’t really set a town/village in Ireland but she is traveling to London. Also it’s a sail boat.
