Celtic Moment

I am looking for opinions and insight from someone who understands the Irish/Celtic tradition, history, and religious insights. I posted in the tattoo section but didn’t get a lot of responses. So I’m posting in a more general section and hope that you don’t report me. I don’t want a Triquetra b/c it is significant of the Trinity which I don’t believe in. Someone mentioned a Tricelta (sp?) which I liked. The background I found states that it’s significant of the earth, sun, and so forth but does that mean Wiccan? While I am a Christian, I’m not an overly religious person. I do want to celebrate my Irish heritage with a beautiful tattoo, but I don’t want to contradict my personal beliefs.. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for the input. I’ve got a lot to think about now that I’ve seen a different outlook on it. I know it seems a little weird to put that much thought into it but I want this one to mean something. I’ve got two other tattoos that when I got them, didn’t mean a whole lot to me except that they were cool. However, now, in hindsight, they represent a time in my life where I was struggling to find myself. Having gone through that, I want this new and probably final tattoo to be a work of art that I can be proud of and have a deep personal meaning. Thanks again to all of you and whatever insights you’ve helped me gain.

ON MY RIGHT BICEP I HAVE A CELTIC CROSS

i want to get a smallll heart with a celtic knot inside it on my wrist. i have already got the design drawn n its small enough to hide with a watch or bracelet. i am a swim coach, the other coach has multiple tattoos. i want to be a special ed teacher, maybe early childhood later on. do you think this will be affected?

I am getting my first tattoo done tomorrow at 3 pm. I already have my parlor, design and artist set up. It is a celtic cross with a claddagh ring memorial tattoo for my dad on my right shoulder blade. He told me itd take around 4 hours to complete. Any advice or tips for me? thanks

Not something superficial like a four leaf clover, and something more unique than just a celtic cross.

My husband and I have matching Celtic Love Knot Tattoos. We want to have another tattoo placed but we cannot find the next tattoo. The previous site we used no longer exists. Can someone help us find the next perfect Celtic Love Knot Tattoo that will symbolize “Eternity” or “Eternal”. I know it sounds goofy, but we want eternal/eternity on one side and love on the other. I want to get a tattoo on my wrist that says ” Love” then have a pretty symbol for motherhood/parenting/child/ or something of that nature. I found the celtic knot symbol for motherhood, but im not sure i like it. Any other places i can check or anyone know of a god design tag to look up? Thanks!

I’m wanting to get a tattoo of a celtic cross with the words “I láthair an oilc, glac misneach” (which means ‘in the presence of evil, take courage’ in gaelic) around it, but i’m not sure where to get it! I already have a tattoo on my left hip, and i want to be sure it would be in a place that wouldn’t effect any future careers.. any suggestions?
