I can’t find a straight answer for this. Is the Celtic Triquetra (trinity knot) with an interwoven circle specifically Christian, or can it also be Pagan? I plan on getting it tattooed, but I don’t want to get a symbol for which I was wrong about the meaning.

I know that it is used in Charmed, but I don’t want to base my decision off TV.
I am not asking the meaning of the Triquetra. I am talking about the knot with a single circle woven through the arches. I can only find that form in reference to the Holy Trinity, but would like to know if it can still have a Pagan meaning.
