I’m helping out a friend who plans to move to Ireland this year and work as a nanny through a agency. I am not sure whether she will be in Northern Ireland or The Republic of Ireland but i was wondering how she would apply for a visa for either country. If she will be in Northern Ireland should she go through the United Kingdom’s Visa service since Northern Ireland is part of the UK or does she need to do something different? I haven’t been able to find any information about Visas in The Republic of Ireland.

We’re currently looking into moving to Europe, and were wondering if it were feasible, given the current economic problems. Can US citizens find work in Edinburgh or London (at least enough to get by?) Thanks in advance for any information!

Interested in his poetry but don’t want to spend months on reading all of him. So is there one or maybe few works I definitley need to check out first?

This year, more people will leave the Ireland to find work than at any time since the 1980s. Al Jazeera’s Simon McGregor-Wood reports from County Donegal.

I know most people retire between the ages of 55-65. However if your over 65 and still want to work even if its just as sales person or such can you do so in Scotland?

I have only seen this drawing once in a book and would love to know what it is or where I can view it online. I have done searches as well and am not having any luck…..so I came to you!

I graduated about a year ago, so I can’t go on any student programs. I’d love to do this working holiday I’ve been reading about, but I’m a US citizen. Does anyone know anything about how I might get a job/visa/whatever over in Ireland to work for about 6 months? I’ve visited once and have wanted to go back ever since. A change of pace, like living in Ireland, would be good for me. Please help!

I am thinking of moving to Ireland in the mid spring I am needing to know where the most reasonable place is to live or maybe find some one to share the bills with after finding work.

How old does one have to be and what are the requirements to get a part time job in Ireland? I’m 16 and from America and planning on staying for a year full time student and part time job. I have arranged to stay with a family friend and know I need visas and permits but no where I look is clear about exactly all I need. Please help!
