Why is the celtic cross always portrayed in the Episcopal church? I’ve researched the celtic cross lots and have found no visible reason why it should be. Please tell me if I’ve missed something.
I do not have a problem with it. I recently joined the church. That’s the main reason I was asking. If it has some significance.

i dont think it is for any particular reason other than it is a cross, which is portraying jesus’ crucifixion and resurection. It isnt because of anything other than looks. They like how it look.
I have been to episcopal churches that didnt have the celtic cross but they still had crosses.

do you have a problem with it?

I’m presbyterian and we use the celtic cross a lot too. I think its because the presbyterian church originated in Ireland, not really sure though.
