It always amazes me where van gets his ideas from. he sings like he’s in conversation.

I was at this “outdoor” concert, for a “picnic” show, I thought it was bloomin’ good, this being one of the better songs in the gig.

Beautifully restrained version. John Platania’s guitar is perfect.

I also cry hearing this song….such a resigned melancholy energy..

I love this song. The first time I heard it I had twenty years old. In that moment, I gone down: But “Veedon fleece”, “St. Dominic’s…” and “Astral weeks” save my life. Now, twenty years ago, I cry while Van sing this song. Thank you, Van. For this one, and for “Ballerina”, and “Cyprus avenue”, and “Listen to the lion”, and “Bulbs”, and “Comfort you”, and “Cul de sac”, and…

I have listened to and loved Van for more than 40 years.
He stated at one time that he didn’t want to be a nostalgia act. No new material for four years, I think it’s about time for a new album.
