I enjoy the music of the Chieftains, and songs like “The Wild Colonial Boy, Mother Macree, etc.and the classic blessings like, “May the road always rise up to meet you, and May you be in heaven an hour before the devil knows you’re dead.”

What are some of your favorites or suggestions?

Thanks!

Galway girl by Mundy. Also the Dubliners have lots of good songs. The star of the county down is a great wee tune too.

The Wolftones… I really like the Celtic Symphony, and so many other songs they have.

I also like Shaman, a fairly obscure Pagan/Irish rock group with a really great sound. You wouldn’t find their stuff anywhere, though, you’d have to specialty order it from them.

Lets not forget some of the greatest drinking songs… So here’s a health to the company and one to my lass
Let’s drink and be merry all out of one glass
Let’s drink and be merry, all grief to refrain
For we may or might never all meet here again

    Happy St. Patty’s Day
