Deedle audil / eedle audil ./.deedle ithiri doo
Dithiri doodil/ eedil oodle/ eidil ithiri dum.! .(Can be modified to compound time and /or syncopated combined with changing projection) .. Old North North West Longford style now almost extinct.
..Pure genius …surely worth at least a Pee Haich Dee…and a resident chair at some third level outfit……?

O’neill’s March, or as it has been known for the past forty years…Dearg Doom ( Horslips )

  • yoheaden:

Is it possible to add the credits ? I’m looking to other videos of the two artists. Thanks

    It’s a bodhran there’s no need for a piano

It takes a yank to try to make beauty from the beautiful

my uncle Paul Phillips (1959–2007) was one of Ireland’s most popular and respected bodhrán players and teachers, immersed in the drum as an art form and in particular in the development (Style and teaching)
Phillips was a proponent of the top-end style of bodhran playing and is credited with having been responsible for a new breed of contemporary bodhran playing
